Lance Armstrong Accused Of Using Performance Enhancement Drugs...Again
Lance Armstrong has changed the way the world sees competitive biking, he beat cancer and won the Tour De France a gazillion times, but all that is being called into questions as his former teammate is accusing him of using performance enhancement drugs.
In an interview with 60 Minutes, Tyler Hamilton claims that Armstrong used the blood-booster EPO during his 1999, 2000, and 2001 tours. Here’s what he said:
“I saw (EPO) in his refrigerator… I saw him inject it more than one time. [Armstrong] took what we all took… the majority of the peloton. There was EPO… testosterone… a blood transfusion.”
This fodder is of course old news because Armstrong has been accused of “doping” before. However he has never failed a drug test so either this story is one big lie or he’s a very sneaky drug addict. You be the judge.
