Rupert Murdoch Attacked During Parliament Hearing

Apparently Rupert Murdoch foolishly thought he would escape his meeting with parliament, over the scandal regarding his New of the World newspaper, scot-free but he was wrong. The poor man was attacked earlier today!

A man wielding the weapon known to commoners as shaving cream, attempted to accost Murdoch but like the swift rich ninja that he is, he used his wife to defect the attack. (Well actually she jumped in front of him, but either way. ) The suspect, a comedian named Jonathon “Johnnie Marbles” May-Bowles, took the law into his own hands during the hearing but was promptly removed from the room before he could even land his hit.

Murdoch was not hurt, and has denied knowing anything about the wire tapping scandal that forced him to shut the tabloid down. Seeing as how it is only a small portion of his multi-media fortune he pretty much believes that he has no liability in the situation. Good luck with that.

As we reported yesterday, a former New of the World employee (who blew the lid off this whole scandal) was found dead in his home. Police have yet to announce a motive or a suspect in the case.
