Earlier this week we reported that a mother threw her infant off of a local hospital garage because she was tired of dealing with his drama. Well now comes word that the poor baby died from his injuries, and if you’re looking for his father to go against the mom, think again.
Noe Medina Sr. told reporters that his wife, Sonia Hermosillo, is gravely ill and had no intentions of killing their child. "She didn't do it on purpose. She didn't know what she was doing," he explained. He obviously didn’t read the news reports, because she clearly knew what she was doing, but perhaps didn’t care about the consequences. After taking the baby to Children’s Hospital of Orange County, Hermosillo removed the infant’s protective helmet (which was used to help shape his skull as a result of his medical conditions) and threw him to his death.
The 31-year-old mother of three suffered from postpartum and was said to be upset that the child was born with special needs. Once she threw the baby , she went back into the hospital, validated her parking and left the scene.
Hermosillo is facing murder charges and is under psychiatric evaluation and has been placed on immigration hold.
