Floyd Mayweather just received a pretty crappy Christmas present: jail time.
The boxer was sentenced to 90 days in a Las Vegas jail stemming from a 2010 altercation with his ex-girlfriend, and mother of his children. Although originally sentenced to six months in the pokey, Judge Melissa Saragossa cut the sentence in half, and gave the 34-year-old three day's credit for time served.
Mayweather pleaded guilty to domestic violence and battery charges, for beating up his ex. In addition to the sentence, Mayweather has also been ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and complete 100 hours of community service.
