Kris Humphries Booed During First Pre-Season Game
Kris Humprhies has a few haters. This time last year he was a virtual unknown NBA cyborg just trying to do his job, now he's Kim Kardashain's ex-husband and apparently people don't like him too much.
Humprhies, who plays for the New Jersey Nets, was booed by 20,000 people when he hit the court to play against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden Wednesday (Dec. 20). Despite only playing a whopping six minutes, the crowd expressed their love/hate relationship with the baller, sometimes booing and then shouting "We want Humphries!" while he was on the bench.
Surprisingly, Humphries claims to have not even heard anything. "I was so focused on the game, I couldn't hear that, bro," he said when asked of the heckling. "I'm not too focused on it. I'm just here to win games."
Rumor has it that his new found fame (not his game) has made him into a certified basketball star, re-signing with the Nets for a reported $8 million.
